I am so excited, proud, humbled, grateful, and happy to announce that I was officially named to the 2018 U.S. Olympic team today and I have the privilege of representing my country and @usabs in Pyeongchang, South Korea next month! I don’t even know where to begin. Thank you so much to everyone that has supported me and helped me get this far in my journey. Family, friends, teammates, coaches, fans, everyone. Thank you all so much. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. Making the Olympic Team has been a huge goal of mine for so long and I’m so proud to have done that, but this is a stepping stone to the ultimate goal of performing and winning medals at the Olympic Games. Hopefully myself and the rest of this team can make you all proud! Congrats to all of the other athletes that made the team today and great effort to everyone that just missed making it. So many great athletes put in so much hard work for all of us to get here, it breaks my heart that we can’t take every single one of them with us. This has already been a journey that has been a part of me for the majority of my lifetime, but I believe this could just be the beginning! I will be racing with @sam_mcguffie in 2-man, along with him, @evanweinstock and @stevenlangton in 4-man. We are fired up and so ready to represent the US of A!
